The site has been running since 1999 - ORs were one of the first Clubs to have an Internet site - who said we were a crusty old club?
It is run over four different URLs, the primary address is www.orafc.biz, but there is also www.orafc.me.uk, www.orafc.org.uk and www.orafc.co.uk. This isn't showing off, it's just because it has been necessary to use different hosts over the years, some of these (e.g. LDH Solutions) have, throught their own internal policies, made it impossible to stay with them and new hosts (and new URLs) sought because of this. There is also 'The Green Pages', which is a joint initiative to create a Club directory of all players and people connected with the Club - this runs from its own URL and host. This is run by Tony Davies.
The whole site has been optimised for Internet Explorer version 5, it utilises raw-coded HTML, CSS, ASP, SQL (for database interface), JavaScript and VBScript and is best viewed in 800x600 - Oooo! The more interractive pages allow you to enter your own thoughts onto the site e.g. write your own match reports, FFL league, etc via an Access database.
